E.R. Visit #1

First off, the babies and I are all fine! Thank God!

I went to bed last night, feeling the same, and when I woke up at about 12:00 to pee the pains got so much worse. The bleeding pretty much stopped, but my cramping intensified and it moved positions. That was enough to scare me, so my Michael drove me to the ER. There was no wait and they took me right in. They called my doctor (I felt bad about that, but I guess that's what they're there for) and he ordered some tests and said to just have the on call OB come down to check me out. I got lucky, and the doctor that assisted my doctor during the cerclage was working and came down herself. She gave me a thorough check, said my stitch was firmly in place and I wasn't dilating at all, but she did see fresh blood. She wasn't too concerned since it wasn't coming from the babies and told me that I just really need to take it easy. Strict bed rest until my doctor checks me out on Monday. I can handle that, anything for these babies. Before she released me she did an ultrasound and all 3 had strong, beating hearts. Just hearing that made me feel so much better. I still have cramping today, but knowing this is normal and I just need to rest makes me feel much better. I'm glad I decided to go.

  2. You should look into getting one of those machines so u can listen to their heartbeats at home- so it can help you stay a little calmer! http://www.amazon.com/Sound-Beginnings-Pregnancy-Music-Medium/dp/B0074JLEJG/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1334070058&sr=8-4
