I do not have to go back to work for 11 days!!! I just had 3 days off and went back today, and it wasn't fun. I did okay, I was just very tired and sore all day. I sat down as much as possible (which is hard to do as a special education teacher) and took it easy. But I learned the hard way that I can't bend down to pick something up. I made it through the day okay, and came right home to lay down and rest. A 2 1/2 hour nap was just what I needed and I feel ready to start my vacation now. I just wish I wasn't so sore, but I guess that will take a few days to go away.
My to-do list is pretty long. Well, the one in my head is! I really need to write it down so I can cross things off. That makes me feel accomplished. Now that my procedure is over operation Make Room for Triplets has begun. Closets and cabinets need to be de-cluttered, the pantry needs to be reorganized, Michael's office needs to start getting cleaned out, the bedroom needs to be painted, the whole house needs to be cleaned and have the carpets shampooed, and so many other things that I'm forgetting because I didn't make a list yesterday like I was supposed to! Oh, and the most important? The registry needs to be started! That one I am most excited about. :)
I started looking at certain things online, and I just can't believe how many choices there are! People I know have told me to definitely go Chico, others have said Graco is great, and others have said go with a Snugride car seat. Then, within each brand there are at least 10 different options! And this is only car seats! I have to take what others recommend and then do the research for every product we are going to need. Even bath tubs are difficult! There are like 18 different kinds, and for each positive review I read, there are 2 more negative ones. But I'm having fun with this, and am really looking forward to going to Babies R Us this week to actually get started.
I guess I should go do something productive other than sit on the couch and blog while my husband puts the groceries away and cooks us all dinner....
Update: Well, no productive work for me! I started bleeding and cramping last night and my doctor says complete bed rest with my feet elevated all weekend until he sees me on Monday. He didn't seem too concerned, said I'm still healing from the procedure and that I probably overdid it by going to work yesterday. I'm nervous, but everything I read said this can be normal and since it's not getting worse, I think it's going to be okay. I hope so. Monday feels so far away.....
I'm offf tooo :) except ihave worrk loll
