15 Weeks!

How Far Along: 15 weeks!

Size of baby: The babies are each the size of navel oranges, are 4 inches, and weigh 2.5 ounces.  I can’t believe how much they’ve grown!

Maternity Clothes: I wore my first maternity outfit today, maternity capris and a short sleeve maternity shirt. I felt pregnant. J

Weight Gain: Still the same…Don’t yell at me, I swear I’m eating way more than usual!

Sleep: Well, I can no longer say I sleep great.  I’ve been having some pains this week (maybe round ligament pain) that make falling asleep hard.  Then, just when I get to sleep I have to pee. Fortunately, I have another pregnant friend who loves playing words with friends at 3 am. J

Best Moment of the Week: Creating the registry (Babies R Us and Amazon).  I can’t believe I’m actually at the point where I’m doing this!

Movement: It’s still early to feel kicks, but sometimes I wonder if I’m feeling small flutters. I don’t really know what any of this is supposed to feel like, so I could be feeling gas pains for all I know!

Symptoms: No nausea at all this week!  I am feeling cramps/pains in my lower abdomen, I guess from my uterus stretching. And like usual, I pee a lot.  My exhaustion seems to have let up a little too, which is nice. But I’m not worried anything is wrong (at least not today) because my belly seems to grow every day!

Food cravings: None.

What I Miss: I miss fitting into my clothes. I never thought I’d be this big this soon, and it’s a waste to buy too many maternity clothes.

What I'm Looking Forward To: Without a doubt, making it to 24 weeks, which is still a long way off.

Milestones: Making it to the halfway point!  Of course, I would like these babies to stay in past 30 weeks, but at 30 weeks they have a really high chance of surviving with no major issues.

Emotions: Excited, but completely overwhelmed by everything we need to do to prepare our home for these 3 little ones!

  1. pack away all your old clothes that don't fit! then each week, you get to pack away more! and then you get to buy more...!! So great to hear your exhaustion has let up a bit! Mine did too then the heaviness hit me and I know I must listen to my body and rest. We'll have to get used to that!
