Lila's Nursery

How precious are those little lips and that button nose?

 

It's hard to see, but her name is embroidered on the pink chair. 

 

     I love how everything came together and think it's the perfect room for a little princess.  I especially love the furniture. I love the crystal knobs on the drawers and the flowers that are engraved on everything.  I have the best mom and mother-in-law ever.  Not only did they get all the furniture for their granddaughter, they threw me the best shower ever.  And bought Lila that huge teddy bear! She is one spoiled little girl already! 

     It's surreal to have a completed nursery.  Her clothes are washed and in the drawers, there's a pack n play in my living room, our bags are packed and the car seats are installed.  I even put a garbage bag in her diaper pail.  We've taken a labor and child care class, read books, and browsed the internet. Because everything you read on the internet is true. :)  The only thing I can think of that I still need to do is sterilize her bottles, which I'll do when she comes home.  So I think we're all ready. Can that be? Can Michael and I really be all ready to bring home a living child?  In 2 days, I will be 37 weeks, which means she won't be considered a preemie.  I still can't believe I made it this far.  But now I need her out!  I know she's alive and well, and am pretty nervous about something going wrong during labor, so I'm ready to deliver her.  It could be any day now!
