Baby girl and I are loving a snow day today! Sleep isn't easy to come by, so getting that call at 5:30 this morning and knowing I could go back to sleep was wonderful. I had a very lazy morning, but much needed after the weekend, when I visited Labor & Delivery at Community for the first time. I wasn't expecting to go, but my doctors are being very cautious with me and sent me for a steroid shot and monitoring. The steroid shot is given in your butt (ouch!), one on each cheek within 24 hours apart. It gives baby girl's lungs a boost in case she comes early. We hope she doesn't, but I'm glad they're being cautious and doing everything they can to make sure she's ready if she does come early. She's 30 weeks, and 3 pounds. Good statistics!
Think she'll be a big girl when she arrives?! :-)
